Job Title: Audio Visual Technician (Part-Time)
Location: Covenant Life Church, Sarasota, Florida
Compensation: $25 per hour
Job Overview:
Covenant Life Church is seeking an Audio Visual Technician to manage the
technical operations for services and events. This role involves overseeing the
sound booth, multimedia presentations, and soundboard operations. Proficiency
with ATEM, OBS, Lighting, ProPresenter 7, and the Behringer Wing soundboard
console is required. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth AV operations while
also assisting with volunteer recruitment for the AV team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and manage the church’s sound booth during services and events.
• Coordinate multimedia presentations, including slides and video content.
• Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for the AV team.
• Operate soundboard and audio systems to ensure high-quality sound.
• Manage livestream production during church services.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of AV equipment.
• Assist with AV setup and breakdown for various church events.
Qualifications:
• Hands-on experience with ATEM, OBS, Lighting, ProPresenter 7, and
Behringer Wing soundboard console.
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and other event-based hours.
Availability:
Must be available for regular church services and mid-week rehearsals.
