Are you a relational shepherd who is passionate about seeing people come to know Jesus personally, growing spiritually, giving their lives away to impact their community, and ultimately reaching the world with the truth and hope of Jesus Christ?
Would you relish the opportunity to be part of the collaborative leadership team that set the goals, vision and mission of a dynamic multiple-campus broadcast ministry model?
Are you a strategic leader, who can effectively cast vision and clearly communicate for all one-church and campus ministries, providing leadership and direction to staff and volunteer leaders?
Our ideal candidate for the full-time campus pastor role will be a passionate, relational, Spanish speaking pastor with significant leadership skills. They will be responsible for the overall spiritual health of the regional campus by overseeing and investing in staff and key volunteers, as well as serving as the spiritual leader for the campus, with regard to pastoral counseling and shepherding. Fully ascribing to our broadcast video model of multi-site ministry, this person will not function as an upfront teacher/preacher. Instead, this person should possess the communication gifts to inspire and motivate others with a strong ability to develop volunteer leaders. This role will steward resources, cast vision, and create strategies to reach the campus community with the Gospel. As a pastor, this person should have a shepherd’s heart to help people walk through difficult situations with spiritual maturity and compassion. As a campus pastor, this person also needs to be an innovative thinker with a savvy business and strategic mind, balancing an eye for detail with the capacity to see the big picture.

Beginning with a group of six families in 1984, Christ Community Church has grown to over 5000 weekend attenders, including our DeKalb Campus in DeKalb County, Aurora Campus in southern Kane County, Streamwood Campus in Cook County, and most recently, the Huntley Campus in McHenry County. A significant focus on reaching spiritually lost people has resulted in over 200 new believers being baptized each year. Christ Community had humble beginnings with services held in a rented movie theater. Weekly activities now take place in our 100,000 square foot St. Charles Campus with weekend celebration services held in our 2000 seat auditorium.
