Newland Church of Christ, an independent Church of Christ, is seeking a full-time minister with a passion for serving the Lord and carrying out the great commission. Duties will also include teaching, visitation, community outreach, and other responsibilities as needed. Newland has been serving the local community for over 100 years. We are a congregation with a weekly attendance of 40-45, with great opportunities for growth.
Newland is located in Warsaw, VA, which is part of the rural and historic Northern Neck of Virginia, a 1-hour drive from Richmond, VA, and 2 hours from Washington, DC and the Norfolk area. Warsaw has plenty to offer a young family with a great school system, wonderful parks, recreation, and an ever-growing community.
A parsonage is provided for housing, and salary is negotiable.
All potential candidates should have a background in the New Testament Christian Church/Church of Christ Restoration Movement, and meet the qualifications outlined in the epistles of Timothy and Titus.
