House of Praise is a dynamic church in the most unchurched region of the United States,* the Capital District near Albany, NY.  (*Barna Group 2023)

Founded in 1984 by a handful of people, this church was restarted in 2005 with a new pastoral team of Lon & Joanne Dean with a fresh focus on discipleship.  Since that time we have seen hundreds saved, and baptized. The weekly congregation was almost 300 before the 2020 quarantine and is growing close to that again.

We are a disciple-making church, focused on growing healthy disciples through their spiritual next steps, which include reaching the unchurched.
