Title: Campus Pastor

Reports To: Multi-Site Director

Campus: Peru

Job Type: Full-Time

Office Hours: Monday: Day Off

Tuesday - Friday: 9AM - 5PM

Saturday: TBD based on service times and activities

Sunday: TBD based on service times/activities

NOTE: In addition to these work hours, you may be asked to participate in events/meetings that will occasionally include evening hours, as there are seasons where it will be necessary to exceed these hours (i.e., Christmas, Easter, staff retreats, serve team meetings, special services/events, etc.)

 

Summary of Position

Potential Church is actively searching for a passionate, skilled, relationally-driven leader to join the team as a Campus Pastor. We’re looking for someone with the ability to develop and implement a catalytic strategy, aligning to Potential’s global vision, which will impact the local community. For this specific position, it is necessary that the chosen candidate is bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish.

 

Church Staff Expectations

  • Staff is expected to attend all global staff meetings and retreats
  • Staff is expected to be present at all weekend services/special events held at their campus
  • Staff is expected to be present at all holiday services including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, etc.
  • Staff is expected to adhere to annual block out dates
  • Staff is expected to tithe and have a spirit of generosity
  • Staff is expected to reach a temple centurion tier within the temple centurion campaign year
  • Staff is expected to embody the mission, vision, and ethos of Potential Church
  • Staff is expected to sit in at least one-weekend service
  • Staff is expected to steward pastoral relationships on behalf of Potential Church and lead pastors, representing their heart in all speech, actions, behaviors, and decisions.

Focus Areas

  • Primary teacher and communicator during weekend services and special events
  • Developing and leading campus staff and serve team members who embody the culture and mission of Potential Church, and execute with excellence the ministry assigned to them
  • Spiritual leader/shepherd for the campus staff, serve team, and congregation
  • Embodying and infusing the core values (ethos) of Potential Church into the staff, serve team members, and congregation
  • Communicating and representing the heart of our Lead Pastor to the congregation
  • Establish and maintain systems that will initiate and sustain growth at your local campus
  • Create irresistible environments where people of all ages engage in life-impacting services and ministry
  • Implementing both outreach and discipleship strategies/programs to help people begin a relationship with Christ and live out their faith
  • Developing a culture of generosity at your local campus (raising up donors who help fund the vision and special projects)
  • Implementing strategies to help engage the congregation in taking steps in their journey of giving/temple centurion
  • Creating a strong invite culture at your local campus
  • Creating/Developing community and other non-profit partnerships, resulting in growth and outreach opportunities
  • Ownership of campus budget, exercising wisdom when dispersing and allocating church funds
  • Ensure quality and excellence of all weekend services, events, gatherings, and content at your local campus
  • Maintenance of the facility, ensuring our environments are excellent, clean, and inviting

COLLABORATE with campus staff and leaders intentionally maximizing individual gifts and passions to create, innovate, and develop a thriving ministry.

CREATE dynamic and life impacting environments, engaging programs, fluid systems, and supporting materials that help people reach their God potential.

COACH staff and leaders imparting experience, insight, and direction; committed to partner with people to reach their God Potential by embracing innovation and creativity while adapting to growth and change.

EXPERIENCE: How is the experience when guests attend and after they attend?

ENGAGEMENT: How are people engaging in ministry & growth?

 

Experience/Skills

Potential Church has a high capacity, driven staff with a culture of excellence and personal development. The church requires a self-motivated, proactive leader who is comfortable with a high level of involvement and a constantly developing environment. The preferred candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluent in both english and spanish, proficiency in Apple technology and software, Microsoft Word/Excel, and Google tech. He/She must also have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, excellent organizational skills, work well under pressure, be well versed in all ongoing activities/ministries taking place on campus, able to collaborate well with other members of the ministry staff, receive challenge and correction well, be a mature believer with a hunger for God’s Word and spiritual growth, and be a carrier and protector of the mission and culture of Potential Church.
