JOB DESCRIPTION

+ Position Overview
This full-time position combines dynamic Student Ministry leadership (6th-12th grade)
with Associate Pastoral duties at our Oceanfront Campus. The ideal candidate will be a
passionate leader capable of nurturing student spiritual growth while supporting broader
church operations and vision.

+ Primary Responsibilities
Student Ministry Leadership
? Design and implement comprehensive programs aligned with Trinity's four-part
strategy - Come, Grow, Serve, Reach
? Build and mentor a strong volunteer leadership team through recruitment,
training, and ongoing support
? Provide individualized pastoral care and mentoring to middle and high school
students
? Partner with student ministers across all Trinity campuses to develop curriculum
and coordinate major events

? Facilitate regular parent communication and occasional educational seminars

Associate Pastor Duties
? Collaborate with Campus Pastor in service planning, visitor connections, prayer
and Sunday operations
? Participate in pastoral mentorship with Campus Pastor
? Deliver engaging, biblically-sound messages at Adult Bible Studies and other
teaching opportunities
? Assist in Community Group development, including leader recruitment and
training
? Participate, as needed, in special services (baptisms, dedications, new member
classes)
? Provide pastoral care to congregation members (hospital visits counseling, etc)
? Serve alongside Oceanfront Campus Coordinator for major church events
(Easter, Christmas, Beach services)

+ Administrative Leadership
? Develop and manage annual student ministry calendar and budget
? Implement efficient visitor follow-up and connection processes using church
management systems
? Maintain expertise in church software (Planning Center, Google Workspace)
? Generate regular ministry reports and metrics for leadership review

+ Qualifications
Spiritual
? Demonstrate mature Christian faith and leadership
? Deep commitment to prayer and Scripture study
? Full alignment with Trinity Church's doctrinal positions
? Active engagement in church community life
Professional
? Bachelor's degree or equivalent ministry experience
? Proven track record in student ministry leadership
? Public speaking and teaching abilities
? Proficiency in organizational and administrative skills

? Physical capability to lift 35 lbs. and maintain extended periods of activity

? Full-time (40 hours/week) including Sunday responsibilities
? Flexible schedule accommodating evening and weekend ministry needs
? Regular participation in student camps and mission trips
? Weekly staff meetings and monthly all-Trinity gatherings
