The Big Picture
West Side Church is looking for a Youth Director who will work under the Family Pastor to teach and disciple our youth. The Youth Director will have oversight over all youth programs, as well as be responsible for discipling the youth and working with our adult leaders who serve within the youth programs. The Youth Director will be part of the Family Team, working alongside the Family Pastor and Children's Director to provide a unified approach for discipling families at West Side Church.
The Candidate
We are seeking a Youth Director who will be able to work under the Family Pastor to accomplish the vision of the Family Team in youth ministry. The candidate should have a deep love for God, passion for working with and discipling teens, and love for teaching God’s Word. He must work well on a team, be able to lead adult youth leaders, and live according to the Word of God. He must have a bachelor’s degree in a ministry-related field or equivalent experience. Previous youth ministry experience of at least three years is desired.
