Job Description:

We are looking for someone to join our team of 5 staff members. We are a non-denominational church with 300+ people on a Sunday morning. We currently have a vibrant youth group, college group, and worship team that loves to serve the Lord along with several other ministries. The duties of this ministry position depend on your gifting and is a full-time position. Worship and youth ministry will be the focus.

The applicant must be a born-again believer in Jesus Christ and exhibit a consistent testimony. The applicant must be a self-starter with a solid work ethic. The applicant will spend time in the Word of God daily, work well with other team members, and live the life of a solid Christian.

When leading worship, the candidate will be responsible for leading and encouraging the congregation in the worship of God to exalt our Savior, Jesus. The candidate will help oversee the general music programs. As a team member, the candidate will coordinate ministry with other staff members, the lead Pastor, and worship ministry leaders.

The applicant will be responsible for planning, coordinating, directing, and leading corporate worship service, youth worship, and special events all on a rotating schedule as a part of the ministry team.

The applicant should have a heart for discipleship and mentoring young people in their spiritual journey. The applicant would be coming alongside the current Worship Director and Youth Director to reach lost and hurting families to see them transformed by the power of God while training them to be effective disciples to the glory of Jesus Christ.

GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Lead and/or assist with weekly worship services.
  • Organize, lead, and develop the worship team musically and shepherd the people spiritually.
  • Attend worship services regularly.
  • Assist or lead youth group or youth worship.
  • Assist or lead college ministry.
  • Manage volunteer schedules for various ministries.
  • Regular office hours (40-45 hours per week)
  • Will perform some general pastoral ministries of the church (teaching, counseling, visitations, etc.)

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A vibrant and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Demonstrate the qualifications of an elder as outlined in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1.
  • A bachelor's degree in theology, ministry, or a related field (preferred).
  • Ability to lead worship vocally and with instrument(s).
  • Previous student ministry experience a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with church staff, volunteers, and parents.
  • IT/Tech, Sound/Video equipment experience a plus.
  • Proficient in church software (Planning Center, Presenter, OBS, and others).
  • Teachable.
  • Adherence to the doctrinal beliefs and values of Living Faith Fellowship.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

  • $45,000-$50,000.
  • Vacation, personal leave, holidays, and sick leave.
