Northwest Arkansas is home to Walmart Home Office as well as other large companies. We are weekend destination and have a booming local economy. We are a growing congregation in an incredible part of the country. Our God-given purpose is to be a church of Disciples Creating Disciples. We are a healthy church with a history of long-tenured pastors. We have a young, energetic staff that serve an incredible body of believers. We are one of the most diverse churches in Northwest Arkansas. We are debt free. We are looking to enlarge our campus in the near future to accommodate our church's growth. We offer full programming on Sunday mornings with two services at 9:30am and 11am. We have several small groups that meet during the week, but the bulk meet at the same time as our teen and children's programming on Wednesday nights. We are led by godly and awesome elders. We have incredible deacons and ministry team leaders as well. Regarding our Worship Ministry, we have a modern style. We have a lot of volunteer talent, and a blend of people from teenagers on up. We will typically have on the platform the drums, the keys, several guitars and a mix of the flute, violin and the chello. Our Worship Ministry budget is the largest of all of our Ministry Teams. We're looking for the right person to continue to inspire worship among our members and guests. Salary will be negotiated during the interview process.
Job Summary
The worship ministry of Rogers Christian Church exists to create an atmosphere of worship, an attitude of worship and bring glory to God with our actions on and off the platform. We recognize that worship is more than the Sunday morning service. It is a lifestyle. We strive to not only provide a transformational worship experience but to change daily lives towards maturity in Christ.
Rogers Christian Church offers a modern form of music and singing to inspire worship for our members and guests. We introduce new songs regularly. We strive to be creative in our services, but for our services to flow well with clear purpose and function. We continue to move forward and adopt new practices along with new songs. We utilize talented volunteers on the platform, and overseeing our tech. The Worship Ministry is the most funded of our Ministry Teams.

Conditions of Employment

· Tech savvy. Ex. ProPresenter; Ableton.
· A degree from a Restoration Movement Bible college is preferred.
· Concerning musicianship: Someone who has a working knowledge of music theory and able to lead a worship team. Knowledgeable of each instrument that is used in the band. The ability to lead with a guitar is preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities
• General staff responsibilities:
· Engage in pastoral responsibilities, as assigned, to include teaching, performing weddings and funerals, pastoral counseling, assisting in worship services, communion, baptisms, child dedications and hospital visits.
· Assists in establishing ministry goals and objectives, and individual tactics that support the mission and vision of the church.
· Recruit, train, schedule, equip and supervise volunteers for the ministry.
· Propose and administer annual budgets.
• Worship Ministry:
· Lead, cast vision, oversee, and direct all facets of Sunday worship at RCC.
· Implement a plan to engage and recruit members for service in the Worship Ministry. This should include children, students and adults to serve in services through Praise Teams, Technology Teams, etc.
· Train, schedule, equip and evaluate Praise Teams, Technology Teams, etc.
· Develop strategy to recruit and train new leaders.
· Provide resources to Ministry Teams as needed.
· Coordinate with the Lead Pastor to provide high quality, engaging Sunday morning gatherings.
· Lead the congregation in establishing effective ministry through music.
· Serve as point of contact and resource for music ministry at RCC including Student Praise Band, Children’s Praise, special seasonal productions, etc.

• Additional Hat:
This position requires an additional “hat.” That hat will be determined by the Lead Pastor and hire for this position, and approved by the eldership. This additional hat will not demand equal time. The Worship Pastor will spend the vast majority of his hours with the Worship Ministry.
Performance and Evaluation
Success in the position will be measured according to the performance assessment tool approved by the Lead Pastor and elders. Performance will be evaluated in relevant areas, including but not limited to: completion of ministry goals and individual tasks, communication, teamwork, leadership, creativity, responsibility, self-motivation, attitude, and potential for growth.
