Olivet Baptist Church, a traditional conservative Bible-believing Independent Baptist Church, located in

Pastor. Salary information is available upon email request. The time commitment and effort may not
equate to a full-time position initially but will increase over time, allowing the Associate Pastor to
hold a part-time position outside the church for the first year or two.

2. Preach and teach regularly, with the guidance and oversight of the Senior Pastor.

5. Engage actively in community outreach and evangelism efforts.
6. Collaborate with church leadership in strategic planning and decision making.
Qualifications:
1. A deep commitment to conservative Baptist theology and doctrine.
2. Ordained or eligible for ordination.
3. Formal seminary training in pastoral ministries (degree preferred)
4. Strong interpersonal and pastoral care skills.
5. Ability to connect and relate with all generations and possess an understanding of how to engage with today’s youth.
6. Willingness to engage in ongoing mentorship and training with Senior Pastor.
7. Experience in preaching and teaching.
8. Have a strong passion and heart for supporting missions.
If you feel called to the ministry, please prayerfully consider OBC. Submit a cover letter, resume and
any relevant preaching or teaching samples (video clips or links), to olivet603@gmail.com. In your
cover letter, please share your testimony, and your calling and vision for pastoral ministry. We
encourage you to review the Gospel, Doctrine, and Sermons pages at our church website linked above
before applying. Our desire and prayer is to find a young man of God who has a heart and calling to
serve a local body of believers. We look forward to reviewing your application and exploring the
possibility of you joining our ministry as we continue to impact lives for Christ in New Hampshire.
Our church is a local body of Bible Believing Christians. We meet in a contemporary church on Maple Street in West Lebanon, New Hampshire. The atmosphere is warm and the people are friendly. Visitors and guests have often commented on the sweet spirit they feel in our church.
When you attend one of our services, you will experience a traditional New England church service with congregational singing and a message from the Bible. There are also classes for the children and nursery is available for the babies.
Our method is to preach the Truth in love. This is the same manner in which our Lord approached sinners during His walk on earth. We strive to employ the very same love, compassion and grace that He did. Our people are challenged to live a genuine New Testament faith. We endeavor to firmly stand upon the truth of His infallible and preserved Word, while earnestly contending for the Faith. We are also committed to preaching the whole counsel of God.
Our purpose is to evangelize by preaching the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross. His shed blood provides the only means for forgiveness. Salvation is a free gift offered to all who will receive Him by faith alone, repent and be born again into the family of God. Our expository teaching assists the believer in establishing a good Biblical foundation from which to serve.
Our history began in October 1993. The ministry started as a Bible Study held every Thursday evening at the Pastor’s home on North Main Street. Soon a Sunday Morning Worship Service was added and attendance increased. The church was officially chartered on February 27, 1995. The following summer, the old Westboro Rail Station building on Railroad Ave was leased and refurbished. A Dedication service was held on October 15, 1995. In April of 2006 we moved to Maple Street.
