Job Description:

Assist the Weekend Experience Team in creating worship experiences that are free from distraction so that attenders can worship and experience God’s truth. Empower leaders to invite, equip, and release people to play a vital role on our production teams. Assist with set up, implementation, operation and maintenance of equipment as it pertains to live events, including Sunday mornings. The employee will also be required to live on- and off-duty in accordance with the Ministry’s statement of faith, code of conduct, and general beliefs.

The position of Technical Specialist at Grace Church requires the employee to perform the following ministerial functions, which are an integral part of his or her employment. These ministerial functions include, but are not limited to, leading and/or participating in staff devotions and/or prayer, sharing the Gospel with visitors or others when called upon to do so during the workday, and the written or verbal communication
of biblical teachings. In addition to the ministerial functions required by the position of Technical Specialist, the employee must
also be able to perform the following duties.

POSITION DUTIES:
- Perform some kind of role on Sunday services whether it be audio, lighting, or producing.
- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and work at heights
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment such as projectors, lighting fixtures, computers, consoles, wireless systems, video systems, etc. for all campuses.
- Maintain clean and well-organized work areas, storage, stages, etc.
- Assist with equipment installation and stage changes at all campuses
- Ensure all facility rooms are prepped for any technical needs throughout the week including rehearsals and event days.
- Prepare Propresenter with accurate lyrics and graphics that the graphics team has prepared for rehearsals and services including Weekend Experience and Youth Services.
- Program lighting for Sunday and events if necessary and ensure volunteer programming is appropriate for the event.
- Grow all campus lighting teams as well as the Medina production team through the process of empowering leaders in inviting, equipping, and releasing new leaders.
- Assist in leading production teams at any campus assigned.
- Assist staff with day-to-day IT needs such as computer setup, printer setup, troubleshooting etc.
- Attend all necessary Weekend Experience team and event meetings and any others as assigned.
- Assist with setup and training for Grace Youth services during the week and be on the Youth Tech team rotation. Assist in training new youth volunteers.
- Assuming other responsibilities as assigned.
