NextGen Director - Calvary Chapel Oceanside

The Next Gen position at CCO will lead the Children, Student and College ministry. They will be a vision carrier for these vital ministries. The position will oversee the paid staff, programming, recruiting, and development of volunteer teams for these three specific areas. In addition, as part of the pastoral staff, assist leadership in preaching for nextgen and adult services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the ministry areas of birth – college
• Oversee paid staff in ministry areas
• Develop the volunteers for these ministries
• This would include recruiting, training, and equipping them for their specific areas of service.
• Plan programming for the student ministry areas.
• Teach in Next Gen Areas.

What a Strong Candidate Would Look Like:

• A visionary leader who can cast vision and direction to a ministry area that challenges volunteers to serve.
• Passion for family ministry that encourages discipleship within the home.
• Experience in recruiting and developing leaders.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Prefer three years of experience in a ministry role.
