Associate Pastor of NexGen Ministries at Victory Church of Brazoria, Texas.
This is a FULL TIME Position!
The primary functions of the NexGen Pastor are threefold:
1.) SHEPHERD - responsible for training Victory Kids & Students to find and follow Jesus Christ through authentic relationships, Biblical education, and family discipleship.
2.) LEADER - responsible for loving, equipping, and celebrating the amazing families and volunteers at Victory Church.
3.) COORDINATOR - responsible for co-casting vision, planning, and implimenting the scheduled services and ministerial events of Victory Kids & Victory Students Ministries.
The Associate Pastor of NexGen Ministries reports directly to and works with the Senior Pastor.
Qualifications:
- An active disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Not looking for perfect...just pursuing intentionally!)
- CLEAR calling to NexGen Ministries.
- Conservative, yet Spirit led, Biblical personal theology and views.
- 5 or more years of ministry experience in YOUTH or KIDS ministry is strongly recommended.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Christian ministry, biblical studies, or related fields is preferred.
- Doesn't take themselves too seriously! Victory Church Staff loves to laugh loud, dream big, colaborate often, and have fun in ministry.
- MUST HAVE the ability to thrive in rural town culture. (County fairs & festivals, Friday Night Lights, riding hroses & going fishing.)
- Beneficial to have skills in Social Media, Video/editing, Canva design, & basic computer skills.
- We would prefer for the NexGen Pastor to be married. (Not a requirement, but beneficial!)
