Responsible for the overall leadership and oversight of the Worship Ministry. Most importantly to lead the congregation, led by the Holy Spirit as we bring praises to Our Lord. The goal of each service is to honor God and lead people into His presence and
into a relationship with Him. All planning, programs and essential functions below should be centered around that primary objective.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and carryout a vision for the Worship team that fits with the overall vision of The Fountain Church.
- Co-Leads with Senior Pastor worship service on Sundays and other Services as needed and assigned.
- Recruit and train musicians to become part of the worship team.
- Oversee/train lighting/media/lighting/streaming volunteers.
- Leads and plans all band/instrumentals and voice rehearsals.
- Leads in creating new worship opportunities, which align with the mission and vision of The Fountain.
- Leads the Tech Support operation for Sunday service including streaming, sound, lighting, etc.
- Provide input to Financial Administration for Annual Budget and ensure spending is within overall framework of budget.
- Manage staff credit card carefully and professionally. Turn in all receipts to The Financial Administrator in a timely fashion.
- Work as a ministry partner with the rest of the ministerial and support staff. This includes attending all staff functions including staff meeting, retreats, planning sessions etc.
- Participate and provide support and leadership in church-wide events.
- Hold office hours as assigned by the Senior Pastor.
- Working with Financial Administrator, manage and approve all monthly/quarterly/annual memberships and subscriptions necessary for the Worship/Streaming Ministry of the Church. These include, but may not be limited to: CCLI, Renewed Vision, Igniter Media,
Light Key Software, Restream and E-Camm.
- Other duties as assigned by Senior Pastor.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Christian with strong spiritual maturity.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Worship Leader.
- Some College or Ministry School required.
- Good organization and computer skills.
