Young Adults Pastor
Peninsula Bible Church
Peninsula Bible Church is a non-denominational church with 75 years of history located in the heart of Silicon Valley. We are a multi-generational, diverse community of people with a deep love for the Bible and a desire to help people find and follow Jesus. PBC is currently accepting applications for a Young Adults Pastor. This is a full-time position, exempt position.
Position Overview
The primary responsibility of the Young Adults Pastor is to shepherd the Young Adult Fellowship (YAF), our weekly gathering of young adults. The Young Adults Pastor will also oversee the college ministry and take on other pastoral responsibilities throughout the church.
Our area faces significant cultural challenges of a busy and transient lifestyle, secular mentality, and achievement oriented culture. But there are also great opportunities: many young adults move to this area from all over the world to work in the tech industry; local companies affect technology and culture around the world; and people are hungry for community and spirituality. We are looking for a pastor to join our team by ministering to young adults but with a heart for the church as a whole and the community at large.
Responsibilities
Desired qualifications and experience
Hours & Salary
Full-Time, 40 hrs/week
Compensation: $90,000 to $120,000; commensurate with experience.
This position is eligible for ministerial licensing and a designated housing allowance benefit pursuant to PBC’s policy.
