QUALIFICATIONS

• A deep and growing faith and personal relationship with Christ
• Five years Kids ministry experience
• Project planning and coordination
• Ability to recruit and lead teams of people
• A heart for kids and the patience and wisdom to minister to them
• Desire for excellence and professionalism

CONTINUING RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in and execute the vision of Kids at IBC alongside the Kids Pastor and Early Childhood Director

Oversee and maintain Sunday morning scheduling of volunteers for 1^st-5^th grade, ensuring all areas are staffed appropriately

Ensure curriculum for Sunday ministry is distributed to volunteers, prepped, and posted to appropriate channels

Oversee and occasionally teach in large group environment

Recruit and train volunteers, and oversee all process queues for Kids Ministry volunteers in IBC Connect

Ensure all safety guidelines and processes are followed by volunteers       

Maintain the budget for Elementary Ministry, practicing good financial stewardship of IBC resources

Meet with adult volunteers for care, connection, and equipping

Partner with Kids Pastor on parent equipping and resourcing

Partner with Youth Pastor to plan and execute 5^th grade transition

Create and execute a strategy for engaging 4^th and 5^th graders

Plan and execute events for Elementary students that align with Kids at IBC scope and sequence

1. Evaluate current safety requirements to ensure compliance.

2. Recruit volunteers and raise up volunteer leaders (hallway coaches, welcome team).
