Job Summary: This position will equip disciples in middle school and high school to live in the ways of Jesus.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work in partnership with The Chapel’s mission for equipping disciples to live in the ways of Jesus
  • Build, train and lead volunteer teams to invest in students’ lives
  • Prayerfully plan, implement, and execute all student ministry initiatives
    • Youth worship
    • Youth discipleship
    • Youth retreats
    • Youth serving/missions opportunities
    • Youth budget
  • Build relationships with parents/guardians and communicate effectively with them
  • Enter the world of the student to lead them to Christ
  • Work with a Kingdom mindset
  • Build partnerships with other youth leaders in our community
  • Have a willing spirit and good attitude to help beyond the areas of student ministries for the sake of the larger church
