Worship Leader

ThornCreek Church is growing! Hallelujah! God has been incredibly faithful!

During this exciting time of growth, we are looking to strengthen our worship ministry by adding a part time worship leader to come alongside the worship ministry leadership that is already in place. We have a full-time Worship Pastor who oversee's the worship ministry and we also have a part time Band Director on staff. This position is open to strengthen the overall quality that is currently in place. 

The worship music at ThornCreek Church is very modern consisting in mostly newer worship music. We have found that our church is in a place where we really relate with songs written by Elevation Worship, Maverick City, Red Rocks Worship, Brandon Lake and Bethel.

HOURS:

• Saturdays from 2:30pm - 8pm
• Sundays from 8am - 1pm
• (extra hours are potentially available)
  • Wednesday Night Prayer Service: 5:15pm-7pm
  • Monday Afternoon Setlist Planning Meeting (time to be discussed upon hiring) 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be teachable and humble
• Must be familiar with click & Tracks and be able to sing perfectly on time with the click.
• Must have some prior experience leading worship.
• Must be able to speak clearly and confidently to the church in between songs, and during appropriate moments during songs whether that means sharing a word from the heart, or saying prayers during the worship set.
• Must have above average vocal skills being proficient with melody and harmonies.
• It is preferred that this person can play the keyboard and sing but not a requirement.
