About Holdeman Mennonite Church (Evana Network)

We're Looking for a Lead Pastor!

Holdeman Mennonite Church is a 174-year-old congregation with a regular attendance of about 65-70 people near the beautiful small town of Wakarusa, IN. Wakarausa is close to Nappanee and only a 20-minute drive from South Bend, Mishawaka, Elkhart, Goshen and Bremen. The people are spread across all ages and have strong connections to the local community. The church also has a beautiful facility, strong financial resources, and a healthy leadership team. It is poised to move into a period of growth as a result of the hard work that has been done over the last year to prepare for the next season of ministry. The congregation is excited to work with their next pastor to develop vision and reach their neighbors for Jesus. The Lead Pastor position is full-time, and we welcome both men and women to apply. Married couples who are interested in sharing a full-time position are also welcome.

Holdeman is part of Evana Network, an evangelical Anabaptist network of churches that emphasizes the support and nurture of its pastors. If you serve as a pastor at Holdeman, you get not only a great church, but you also become part of a family of pastors who truly love and support each other. Please note, this congregation has no connection with the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite denomination, whose members are commonly known as Holdeman Mennonites.
