The Youth Pastor will be responsible for providing spiritual leadership, guidance, and support to our youth (middle school and high school students). The ideal candidate will have a deep and growing relationship with Jesus Christ, a passion for working with youth, and a heart for helping them grow in their faith.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive youth ministry program that includes worship, teaching, small groups, service projects, and special events.
- Recruit, train, and equip volunteers to serve in the youth ministry.
- Build relationships with youth and their families, providing pastoral care as needed.
- Collaborate with other church staff and leaders to create a cohesive and integrated ministry approach.
- Plan and lead youth mission trips, retreats, and other experiential learning opportunities.
- Manage the youth ministry budget.
- Communicate effectively with parents, volunteers, and other stakeholders.
- Stay current with trends and best practices in youth ministry.
Education
- Minimum is an Associates Degree, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Experience
- 2 years minimum of leadership in a growing youth ministry
Qualifications:
- A growing and vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ.
- A calling to work with youth and a passion for helping them grow in their faith.
- Experience in youth ministry, preferably in a church setting.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required for events and programs.
- Proficiency in current tech tools, including but not limited to - Google Workspace, ability to learn software, social media, presentation software, etc.

Evaluation
The youth pastor will be evaluated annually based on performance, goals, and feedback from students, parents and church leadership.
