New Life Community is seeking a highly relational Lead Pastor to expand community outreach and service within the ethnically diverse city of Dinuba, located within the family-friendly agricultural region of Central California. The caring and others-centered church is committed to ministering to the hurting, broken, and disadvantaged, while also maintaining evangelical biblical commitments.
The ministry is looking for a committed family man, who will simultaneously hold to the confession of faith, while also actively welcoming and caring for people from all sorts of cultural and economical backgrounds. The region is the ideal context for a ministry leader who is committed to the bible, but who also follows the call to personally love and serve and meet the needs of individuals with extraordinarily complex lives. New Life Community seeks to minister to the whole person: soul, body, and psyche. This mission is demonstrated through the church’s numerous bible studies and prayer meetings, their ministry to the poor (which has led to receiving the non-profit of the year award from the city), and in and through their thriving Celebrate Recovery, Home Resource Center, and GriefShare ministries.
New Life Community is ideally situated in the balanced context of Dinuba, California. The city is highly diverse, and yet also known for maintaining conservative values. It enjoys the consistent sunshine and mild winters of California, while also being nestled within a very affordable, traditional agricultural region.
The new full-time lead pastor will collaborate collegially with the church elders and oversee a staff of four part-time leaders, based in a debt-free facility which has ample room for growth. He will enjoy a competitive salary and benefit package, including 50% off tuition from Immanuel Schools, if he so chooses this for his family, as well as MB scholarships to Fresno Pacific University.
