About the Worship Pastor:

At Georgianna we feel like there are three things that make for a good team-mate: Character, Chemistry and Competency. We see employment as partnerships that we have with each other and strive to be a place where people want to come to work. Education & Experience

• 5 years experience in a similar role  leading a team of volunteers.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Provide leadership, vision, and passion for worship.

• Oversee all worship related activities from sound booth to stage.

• Lead weekly rehearsal of the worship team.

• To prepare and deliver Sunday morning contemporary worship to 3 morning services.

• To develop and grow a worship team to support the Worship ministry, and aid in their growth as disciples.

• To develop and train volunteers in the sound booth and work with Creative Arts Pastor to prepare all worship related visuals.

• To lead and oversee the development of the existing youth worship team. 

• Lead us in any off-site worship events:

  • Easter and Christmas at Holy Trinity

  • Youth Camp

  • Women’s retreat (Onsite)

• Lead special worship services throughout the year as needed.

• Evaluate and recommend any equipment modifications and upgrades.

• Work with the Preaching team to create seamless Sunday services.

• Attend weekly staff meetings.

• Oversee Worship Budget.

• Working knowledge of A/V software.

• We are looking for a person who loves Jesus and is committed to the vision of reaching people with the gospel utilizing worship as a means of grace.

• We need a person of strong integrity who lives out a spiritual walk of both relevance and influence.

• We are a church that embodies a great team attitude and looks forward to sharing ministry with others, regardless of who gets credit.

• The nature of our church is one of intimacy, and we are looking for someone who engages others with a spirit that sees everyone as a precious child of God. 

• Need someone with a strong work ethic that is willing to go above and beyond if necessary.

What it's Like to Live in Merritt Island, FL: 

The best part of our location is that we are located on an island, with boating and fishing and beach opportunities within minutes. Merritt Island is a part of the Space Coast of Florida which means multiple rocket launches weekly and close proximity to the Kennedy Space Center. And in just around an hour you can be at the Orlando parks (Disney, Universal, SeaWorld). Merritt Island and Brevard county has great schools and houses several growing industries, most notably in the engineering and aerospace field. Merritt Island specifically has a small town feel with many longtime residents.
