Children’s Pastor

Zeo Church is seeking a passionate and dedicated Children’s Pastor to lead our children’s ministry as part of our rapidly growing and dynamic community. As a two-year-old church with an expanding congregation, we are focused on providing a vibrant, biblically-based environment for children to grow in their faith. The Children’s Pastor will play a key role in creating engaging programs that align with Zeo’s mission of worship, discipleship, and outreach, and will oversee ministry efforts for children from infancy through elementary school.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Leadership & Vision**: Provide spiritual leadership and oversight to the children’s ministry, ensuring alignment with Zeo Church’s vision and values.
- **Program Development**: Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula, activities, and events to foster spiritual growth and engagement among children.
- **Volunteer Management**: Recruit, train, and support a team of volunteers to assist in children’s ministry, fostering a collaborative and encouraging environment.
- **Discipleship & Outreach**: Create opportunities for children and their families to engage in discipleship, outreach, and service, supporting their spiritual development within the church community.
- **Parent Partnership**: Partner with parents to reinforce spiritual teachings at home and provide resources for continued faith development.
- **Safety & Compliance**: Ensure that all children’s ministry activities comply with safety protocols and child protection guidelines, maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for all children.
- **Integration with Church Life**: Collaborate with other church leaders and ministries to integrate children’s programming with broader church activities, including home groups, classes, and outreach initiatives.
- **Pastoral Support & Miscellaneous Tasks**: Follow the guidance and requests of the church pastors, including assisting with various miscellaneous tasks as needed. This role may involve taking on additional responsibilities to support church operations, acting as a flexible team player to meet the needs of the ministry.

**Qualifications**:
- A strong, active Christian faith and alignment with the beliefs and vision of Zeo Church.
- Prior experience in children’s ministry, church leadership, or Christian education preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to inspire and lead volunteers, as well as engage effectively with children and parents.
- A passion for the spiritual development of children and a heart for ministry.
- Willingness to serve in various capacities as needed to support the broader mission of the church.
