CrossPoint Church
Youth Pastor
The Mission of CrossPoint Church: To follow Jesus and make disciples who love each other, the Region, and the world.
How we see our role:
All of us are living a story. The gospel is God's invitation to live the largest story ever, the rescue of humanity through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Mission is how our story finds its meaning in God's invitation to follow him and participate in the healing of our broken world.
Who we are:
CrossPoint Church is a growing, non-denominational church in Crown Point, Indiana (part of the Chicago Metro area), with a current Sunday attendance of 400-500 people. Though we’re not affiliated with a denomination, we’re part of a global network of churches called Advance Movement, which is strongly committed to planting and strengthening churches around the globe. Here in Crown Point, we’re working hard to give people the opportunity to grow deep in their relationship with Jesus and then help others do the same (disciples making disciples).
The CrossPoint Church Youth Pastor role is a key part of our church leadership; intended to equip the next generation of young disciples to become leaders and disciple makers. Specifically, this role will be focused on the middle school and high school students involved at our church, as well as equipping parents with the tools they need to disciple their children at home. In this role, the Youth Pastor supports the Mission of the church, the Elders, the vision and values of the church.
