Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY AND POSITION OBJECTIVE

  • Manage accounting department and financial reporting of Christian Financial Resources

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Manage financial statement preparation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare quarterly covenant affirmation financial statements for line of credit debt 
    covenants with partner banks.
  • Prepare quarterly analysis for Asset-Liability Committee.
  • Prepare quarterly travel and office expense reporting with budget to actual analysis for 
    executive team review.
  • Manage cash flows for ensuring available liquidity for investment assets and liability needs.
  • Lead and manage accounting department and personnel for all investment, loan, and 
    stewardship transactions.
  • Manage Human Resource and personnel recordkeeping and payroll.
  • Review daily cash reconciliation and all general ledger accounts.
  • Manage all annual compliance items for Offering Circular preparation and filing, IssuerAgent registration, Broker-Dealer registration, and state corporate filings.
  • Manage annual audit and tax return completion.
  • CFR Partner Updates, as directed.


REQUIRED COMPETENCIES/SKILLS

  • Knowledge of ministry's working structure, policies, mission, and strategies.
  • Advanced accounting concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Knowledge of general ledger systems and financial statements.
  • Organize, manage, and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with changing 
    priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Use appropriate interpersonal styles to communicate and collaborate effectively to all 
    levels of organization.
  • Implement changes to standard procedures when required by specific situations and 
    circumstances.
  • Work independently, make non-routine decisions and resolve complex accounting 
    problems.
  • Lead meetings and contribute to team efforts by ensuring all relevant information is 
    included in the outcomes.
  • Ability to delegate daily work and projects to support staff.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external partners.
  • Proficiency and knowledge of MS Excel, MS Dynamics CRM, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
  • Typing or keyboarding experience required
