Assistant Production Director

     The Assistant Production Director works under the Production Director and closely with the Creative Team, Pastoral Team and staff. This position will have a primary focus on creative video for online and social platforms. This position will also aid the Production Director in weekend execution of in service production.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

Capture content for weekend services and edit footage into promo and social media deliverables.

• Oversees scheduling and filming of video content to include weekly announcements, social content and ministry content
• Edits and manages online hosting of weekend services via YouTube and Website
• Collaborate with Production Director and Worship Pastor to develop plans and strategies for ongoing A/V/L improvements.
• Aids in building, training, scheduling and leading a team of production volunteers.
• Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing the best uses of media technology in worship.
• Aids in the oversight and implementation of A/V/L aspects for weekend services and events, ensuring high quality and limiting distractions.
• Create high quality church-wide graphic/video and visuals for in service and social media
• Create high quality motion graphics including message highlights, marketing, commercial and various video jobs as assigned.
• Familiarity w/ Blackmagic and RED Cinema a plus but not required.
• Prepare and review systems for weekly services including stage, lyrics, graphics, video, lighting
• Help produce and provide technical support for other special events, and departments
• Overseeing all aspects of production for weekend services and special events in absence of Production Director
• Occasionally program lighting for weekend services and special events

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• BE TEACHABLE but also able to take the initiative
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite - After Effects, Photoshop, LightRoom, Premiere Pro, Final Cut
• Proficient with Mac OS X
• Proficient in videography and photography
• Knowledgeable in lighting creative environments and knowledgeable or ability to learn MA lighting.
• Always thinking of innovative ways to raise the bar and take creative designs and ideas to the next level
• Can properly and effectively create content for use on multiple formats
• Attention to detail in design
• Must be able to work independently to meet deadlines w/ quick turnaround

QUALIFICATIONS

The Assistant Production Director should have at least 2 years experience in production ministry and creating, designing and editing video in a related field. A degree, certificate, college coursework in related field is a plus but NOT REQUIRED. The right fit for this position is expected to be a Spirit filled believer and active member in the life and community of Without Walls Church, adhering to the standards, beliefs and vision of our church.

• $56K - $62K/Year DOE
