Youth Ministry Lead
Reports to: NextGen Leadership
Purpose:
Bring organization, care, and general leadership to the youth in order to build a movement of engaged disciples within CF Downingtown and the surrounding community. This role gives specific attention to students in 8-10th grade.
Relates to: Pastoral staff, Ministry Table, Support Staff
Gives oversight to: Coordinators, Interns & Adult Volunteers
Essential Responsibilities:
- Coordination of Programming & Events
- Schedules programming for Sundays and Wednesdays
- Speakers & Content, Programming
- Facilities & Production
- check-in & tracking of students
- Budget Management
- Scheduling & Project Management of retreats & special events
- Coordinates & assigns Staff Team responsibilities
- Internal Communication through Basecamp
- Communications
- Coordinates Social Media, Texting & emails
- Calendar
- Coaching & Leading Staff & Adult Volunteers
- Regular Coaching, Recruiting & Teaming
- Small Group Support
- Background Checks
- Student Discipleship
- Coordinates student leadership tables
- Collaborates on next student ministry priorities
- Shepherding/Discipleship/Coaching of students
- Establishes CF presence & outreach at local schools
- New Family and Teen Connections
