The Pastor is expected to be in the church office throughout the week, M-F, periodically meet with the leadership board, The male candidate is expected to research, prepare and deliver the message on Sunday mornings. To preach & teach the whole word of God. Perform baptisms, Minister to the local body of Christ. To be an active member of the church leadership, in leading and guiding . Oversee , guide and develop all ministries.
We are a small non-denominational church. located in Monroe Michigan. We are an older congregation. Current pastor ( A graduate of Moody Bible Institute) has served for 30 years, and is ready to retire.
Our building is in excellent condition. Recently updated Heating & Cooling systems. 17 acres of property. Mortgage was paid in full in September 2021.
Salary & benefits to increase as membership increases. Starting salary is $1200 per week. We do not have a parsonage.
We are looking for an individual that is Ordained, has a minimum of a Associates Degree in Divinity, Theology. experince in pastoral duties, preaching , counseling required.
We are located between Toledo Ohio & Detroit Michigan. 2 miles from Lake Erie.
We are very interested in rebuilding our youth group, childrens ministries, and the general membership. We operate with a Head Trustee/Treasurer, a Trustee Board & Deacon Board. We are financially sound, with a lot of potential. Our Building was built in 1968, at that time we operated as a Baptist Church. Currently, we consider ourselves to be Non-Denominational, we lean between Baptist & Pentecostal in our faith. We do have a Statement of Faith that we adhere to, as well as a Church Constitution, and can send it to any interested candidates.
We stand firmly for the nation of Israel . We firmly believe that the Church will be Raptured Pre-Tribulation.
We are a gun friendly, Pro 2nd Amendment Church, with armed & trained security.
