Worship Director

1. Cultivate a worship environment in a multigenerational church family 
2. Authentically, compellingly, and expectantly lead people into the presence of God during worship
3. Invite God to do His work in our midst with song and praise 

WORSHIP PLANNING & LEADING

1. Report directly to, and act as assistant to, Senior Pastor in all areas of worship and music
2. Primary vocal lead in worship involving music 
3. Develop and grow Worship Team by mentoring in the heart of worship, promote teamwork and variety of artistic expression and modes of worship
4. Coordinate all aspects of Worship Ministries of the church including special services and events
5. Work closely with worship chair, worship team, tech team, and welcome team (greeters and ushers)
6. Responsible for recruiting and developing people for Worship Team(s), sound and multimedia crew, contributing musicians, vocalists, and artists 

CHARACTER & QUALITIES

1. Humble, servant attitude, integrity, compassionate, with spiritual maturity as described in I Tim 3:1-7
2. Committed follower of Jesus Christ with a servant’s heart for God’s people and a desire to help the whole family glorify Him and be on mission toward building community 
3. Have proven experience in leading, training, and managing a worship band in a variety of genres. Be able to relate to and lead a multi-generational congregation in worship

POSITION STATUS

1. Part-time: 16-20 hours a week
2. $24.50 per hour - 2 weeks vacation
