The Pastor of Student Ministries at West Bridge Church will be responsible for leading and shepherding students and volunteers, building and developing volunteer teams, directing, organizing, and leading grades 7-12th at West Bridge Church.

A. Objective
Provide vision, leadership, recruitment, training, and programming to lead middle school & high school students to
become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ for the glory of God!
B. Qualifications
- Meets the pastoral qualifications in Timothy and Titus
- Growing love for the Lord evidenced by obedience to Him
- Committed and gifted to teach/preach the Word of God
- Love for people of all ages and a passion to help them follow Christ
- Pursuing humility exhibited by being teachable
- Hardworking - self-starter - bias for action
- Chemistry fit with our staff
- Experience leading a healthy youth ministry preferred
- A leader who can cast vision/build teams/form strategy/accomplishes goal (administrative ability)
- Aligned with our mission/vision and doctrinal statement
- Effective in connecting with and disciplining young men
C. Responsibilities
LEAD
- Develop and communicate a vision that will lead our youth ministry to greater effectiveness
- Recruit, train and empower a team of volunteers to minister to students (make disciples)
- Develop annual goals for the student ministry consistent with our mission & values
- Promote student ministry within the church and community
- Plan & oversee events
MANAGE
- Oversee all student ministries
- Budget – Curriculum - Policies
- Staff recruitment needs
SHEPHERD
- Observe, support, and encourage adult/student leaders
- Provide training opportunities for staff
- Provide support for parents
COMMUNICATE
- Communicate to church staff, volunteer staff & parents
TEAM
- Assist the lead pastor with pastoral duties as needed
- Staff Point for selected ministries
