Worship Pastor / Director

The Local Church, a fast-growing and community-focused church in the heart of South Florida, is hiring a Worship Pastor/Director to create and lead a culture of spirit-led worship at The Local Church, develop a team of volunteer vocalists and musicians to lead all areas of worship within the church, and manage all administrative needs of the Worship Ministry.

We are a multi-generational, multi-cultural, multi-ethnic community that commonly refers to our church as "familia" and are led by Pastor Eric Gamero, who under his leadership we have grown to over 1,600 people on a weekend and was named one of Outreach Magazine's Top 100 Fastest Growing Churches in 2020 and 2021.

We are looking for someone who loves Jesus, likes South Florida, knows how to have fun, can collaborate with a team, and has a proven track record of creating irresistible environments and investing in the lives of their local community.

• Proven experience building and leading a team of volunteer vocalists and band members.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Exemplifies a creative and problem-solving mind.
• Extensive knowledge of Planning Center Online.
• Proficient with Ableton Live.
• Ability to lead vocally and musically with instrument proficiency.
• Gospel music background preferred.
