Christ Church is a multisite church that was founded in Hickory, NC. Christ Church has grown over the years to have 5 physical campuses stretching over 3 counties in the unifour area of the foothills of NC.

Position Summary: Christ Church is looking for a talented individual with a strong commitment to Christ and to musical excellence, along with a heart for working with volunteers. As an integral member of our ministerial team, you will help change lives through the power of the Holy Spirit and music. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to lead vocally with excellence, be proficient on guitar or keyboard, and minister to volunteers with musical skills and gifts. Worship Leaders will report directly to the Worship Pastor, while working closely with other staff members in the Worship Department.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate:

1. Must be a fully devoted Christ-follower who fully supports the ministry and vision of Christ Church. This individual’s commitment to Christ will be evidenced in his or her personal life, family relationships, and ministry.

     2.   Must have strong vocal abilities.

     3.   Must be proficient on guitar or keyboard.

     4.   Will have the ability to lead a worship band made up of volunteers, musicians, and singers.

     5.   Will be a recruiter of singers and musicians in order to grow the worship team at the

            campus you are serving.

Experience:

1yrs+ experience in worship leading at a medium to large church is preferred.

Education:

Music and/or Theological education preferred but not required
