This person will serve on the staff of SBC under the direction of the Senior Pastor. They will collaborate with each other in planning and implementing ministries to help families and students grow in their knowledge and relationship with Jesus Christ.
Responsibilities
•Teach Biblical truth in affirmation of SBC's Statement of Faith
•Be a member of C.E. Committee (Christian Education)
•Build and implement events for family and youth, for fellowship, outreach, and relationship building
•Oversee Wednesday evening church family ministries
•Faithful attendance to Sunday worship services
•Build relationships by attending school activities and community events
•Organize and attend/lead special events outside of regular youth activities
•Attend staff meetings
•Preach once quarterly for experience
•Assist in other ministries assigned and agreed upon with Senior Pastor (i.e. visitation, funerals, weddings....)
•Work with established ministry partners
Compensation
•Commensurate with experience
•SBC offers scholarship funds for further education opportunities relative to ministry
