Meet Liberty Christian Preparatory School:
Liberty Christian Academy was founded in 1983 by Liberty Baptist Church. Shortly thereafter, LCA offered preschool through 12th grade and began a varsity athletic program.
In November 2002, a main educational building, with thirteen classrooms, a gymnasium and school offices were constructed. The preschool was moved to its current location, in the original church building. A decade later, Liberty Christian Academy was renamed Liberty Christian Preparatory School. This identified LCP’s transition to a more rigorous college-prep program.
Today, with almost 500 students on campus, LCP recently completed a building project that consists of a new middle/high school wing that hosts 10 classrooms, a teacher work area, a set of restrooms, and administrative office spaces.
Liberty Christian Prep continues to prepare and equip students for spiritual, academic, and personal success. Our vision is to help students discover their God-given strengths and interests so they are prepared academically and spiritually for their future. Dual enrollment, Advanced Placement, and Honors courses are offered to our high school students. Out of high school, 95% of our students attend the college of their choice. Our recent alumni attend Liberty University, Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Southeastern University, Stetson University, University of Central Florida, Tampa University, and many other prestigious universities
About the Principal:
Liberty Christian Preparatory School is seeking its next Principal. The Principal is an employee of Liberty Church and assists in leading the school, developing staff, and overseeing classroom structure. The Principal will oversee the day-to-day instructional operations of the school, ensuring that students receive the highest quality education and that teachers have the resources and support they need to succeed.
The Principal's Responsibilities Include:
In conjunction with the Head of School, lead the school with a clear vision and mission, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and working towards shared goals.
Foster a positive and inclusive school culture, where students, teachers, and parents feel valued, respected, and supported.
Recruit, mentor, and evaluate teaching staff, ensuring that they have the necessary resources, training, and support to excel in their roles.
Monitor student progress and achievement, developing strategies to address any areas of concern and celebrate success.
Manage the enrollment and retention of students, working with the admissions team to attract and retain families.
Maintain open and transparent communication with parents, staff, and community stakeholders.
Plan and organize school events, including graduations, school trips, and other extracurricular activities.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing private schools.
Supervises the Dean of Students and assists with training.
What You Bring:
Education & Experience
Master’s degree in educational leadership or a related field; Doctoral or Ed. Specialist degree preferred.
At least three to five (3-5) years of experience as a school principal or in a similar leadership role.
Five to seven (5-7) years of classroom experience.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead teachers, and to inspire and engage students and parents.
Strong organizational and management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
A deep commitment to Christian education and the values of our school.
Must be able to meet deadlines, follow instructions, and be humble and teachable.

Is a Christ follower and would call Liberty Church their home church.
Believes that the Bible is God’s Word and standard for faith and daily living.
Is a Christian role model in attitude, speech, and actions toward others including a commitment to God’s Biblical standards for sexual conduct (Luke 6:40).
Show by example the importance of Scripture study and memorization, prayer, witnessing, and unity in the Body of Christ.
Have the Spiritual maturity, academic ability, and personal leadership qualities to “train up a child in the way he should go.”
