NextGen Pastor

The NEXTGEN PASTOR (Family Ministries) calls for an innovative leader passionate about evangelism, capable of designing and executing strategies to build dynamic ministry reaching students and families far from God. They must also be committed to developing new and existing leaders to strengthen and further the outreach & discipleship for these ministries.

CrossPointe Kid’s Ministry

• Oversee the spiritual growth and development of early childhood through 5th grade with children’s ministry volunteer teams.  This includes vision casting, curriculum prep (we use Orange), volunteer recruitment, team building, and training. Responsible for operational oversight of Sunday kids’ services and special family events/outreach.

CrossPointe Student Ministry

• Strengthen and lead the leadership team for Middle School and High School Ministries. Coordinate activities, spiritual formation, and outreach as deemed most beneficial to growing and developing students. Integrate student ministries with the larger vision and life of the church. Bring pastoral and counseling support to students, parents, and families. Strengthen a partnership with Northshore YoungLife. 

Heritage Christian Academy

• CrossPointe Church has a vibrant missionaly-driven private Christian elementary, middle school, and high school, giving this role a unique platform with immediate ministry opportunities for evangelism and discipleship to 350 full-time students and their families.

Qualifications

• A disciple of Jesus Christ who embodies a growing relationship with the Lord and demonstrates a love for Christ and passion for serving His kingdom.
• A lifestyle congruent with the biblical qualifications for leaders (1 Tim. 3:1-13; 2 Tim. 2; Titus1:5-9).
• A clear calling to NextGen (Family) Ministries. (This includes infants all the way through high school-aged students.)
• Creative teaching and innovative thinking about ministering to Gen Z and Alpha.
• The ability to inspirationally lead others and compassionately mobilize volunteers.
• Proven experience in youth and/or children's ministry, demonstrating creativity and effectiveness in outreach and discipleship.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Christian ministry, biblical studies, or related field is preferred.
• Applicant needs to be a team player with an outgoing “self-starting” personality, evangelistically passionate, administratively organized, and committed to excellence.
• Theologically aligned with CrossPointe Church, with a commitment to personal and professional growth.

Salary Range: $60,000-$70,000 (plus benefits package + private school tuition for children at Heritage Christian Academy)
