Timberlake Church is a fast-growing, creative, tech-savvy, and increasingly multi-racial church committed to reaching people for Christ and growing them in their faith. We are one church with multiple locations in the metro Seattle area and Southern Washington.

We seek a talented, upbeat individual to join our Communications Team as a full-time Social Media Manager at our Redmond, WA Campus. This person is a self-starter who equally thrives in collaborative and independent projects and is passionate about using their skills to help others hear the love and hope of Jesus.

Responsibilities

• Own social media at the Redmond Campus — manage all published content on a day-to-day basis and maintain a content calendar.
• Create, edit, and share engaging content (photos, videos, text, and graphics) daily on Timberlake social media channels.
• Use social media marketing tools to maintain and grow the Timberlake brand.
• Monitor all metrics and analytics and create monthly reports.
• Respond to and interact with followers via the Timberlake social media accounts.
• Take and edit photos/videos on Sundays/at a variety of church events.
• Develop, train, and lead a team of media volunteers.
• Research and stay on top of social media and marketing trends.
• Demonstrate creative decision-making and problem-solving skills, resourcefulness, and multi-tasking abilities both in the office and at events.

You’ll be right on track if:

• You possess expertise in social media management and content creation.
• You are a skilled writer and editor with a knack for writing engaging captions.
• You think in photos, videos, graphics, and copy with the intent to engage followers and create a unique, ownable, consistent, and on-brand social footprint.
• You have a desire to reach people with little to no church background while also engaging with our church community.
• You are hardworking, able to work in a fast-paced environment, detail-oriented, creative, and future-thinking.

It would be awesome if:

• You have experience taking and editing photos/videos.
• You have basic graphic design skills. (Adobe Creative Suite + Canva).
• You have experience creating social media content in a church environment.
• You can develop, train, and lead volunteers.
