Formerly known as First Christian Church (previously located at 4800 Franklin Rd. and now home of Franklin Road Academy), Aspen Grove is one of the oldest Christian churches in the Nashville area, dating back to the 1950's. Our historical roots trace back to the early 19th century in a religious movement that came to be known as the Restoration Movement. The primary focus of the movement was a call for Christian unity. While we identify ourselves as a Christian Church, Aspen Grove is a nondenominational Church and operates autonomously. Our leadership is structured as a close collaboration between elders (responsible for spiritual direction), admin team (emphasis on logistics), and our ministry staff.
