Preschool Pastor position at Gold Creek Community Church

Gold Creek Community Church is dedicated to helping those far from God find hope and purpose in Jesus Christ. As we aim to expand our outreach, we're looking for a dynamic Preschool Pastor to spearhead this mission, nurturing and guiding our youth towards a deeper faith and understanding of Jesus Christ.
Role Overview:
As the early Elementary-aged Pastor, you will oversee a large kids ministry from 1st-3rd grade, where you will lead our ministry by developing engaging services, fostering safe and fun activities for kids to discover who God is, come alongside families in this season of life, and create a thriving volunteer team. This role calls for an leader eager to help kids learn the foundational truths of who God is, one who is forward-thinking about how to improve the ministry, and has a mind focused on safety as kids engage with the lesson.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and lead impactful kids services, adapting messaging to the understanding of elementary-aged kids.
- Help plan and execute kids events that will be exciting for elementary-aged kids
- Recruit, train, and empower volunteers to serve within the kids ministry.
- Cultivate strong relationships with parents
- Work well with other members of the Kids Team, focusing oon helping each other, collaborating and brainstorming, and creating sermon series that will resonate across multiple age groups.
- Manage ministry resources, ensuring alignment with the church’s vision and objectives.

- A vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and a heart for evangelism.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with kids, parents, and volunteers.
- Self-motivated and entrepreneurial, with the initiative to develop new service elements, volunteer engagement strategies, and measurable milestones within the ministry.
