Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AVL (Audio, Visual, and Lighting) Operations Director to join our team. The AVL Operations Director will oversee all aspects of audio, visual, and lighting operations for Kingdom Movement, ensuring exceptional quality in all services and events. This role requires a dynamic leader with technical expertise and a passion for creating impactful worship experiences.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Leadership and Management:
- Lead and mentor the AVL team, including volunteers and staff.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and performance.
- Manage scheduling and coordinate AVL team members for all services and events.
2. Technical Operations:
- Oversee the setup, operation, and maintenance of all AVL equipment.
- Ensure high-quality audio, video, and lighting production for all services and events.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that might come during services.
3. Production Planning:
- Collaborate with pastors, worship leaders, and other staff to plan and execute AVL needs for services and events.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors as needed for special events.
- Plan and oversee upgrades and new purchases of AVL equipment.
4. Change and Improvement:
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in AVL technology.
- Continuously seek ways to improve AVL operations and enhance the worship experience.
- Implement innovative solutions to meet the growing needs of the church.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in AVL production, including audio engineering, lighting design, and video production.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to the mission and values of the church.
Working Conditions :
- Full-time position with standard working hours of 40 hours per week.
- Occasional travel is required for conferences and events.
- Office setting with the possibility of remote work options.
