Watermark Church is looking for an energetic, called, experienced youth pastor to grow the student ministry and invest in teens and their parents. To make disciples for Christ by developing and implementing a comprehensive youth ministry (in the areas of group building, worship, Bible study, mission, and outreach) while serving as a spiritual leader and role model. Our vision is for the Youth Pastor to not only implement a vibrant Wednesday evening youth ministry experience but also to equip a team of volunteers as well as develop leadership skills among the teens. Qualities we are looking for include: a calling to ministry, a team player mentality, a desire to engage in the total life of the church, a willingness to invest in teens and their parents, and an ability to plan and implement a vibrant, impactful ministry to youth.
Watermark Church is located in the beautiful, fast-growing Lake Norman community of Troutman, NC. Watermark, a young church planted in 2008, is now residing in a six year old facility on a 22 acre campus site. Building expansions have just been completed that feature a large gathering/lobby area and cafe as well as a timber pavilion and an outdoor patio area with kitchen. All designed to increase opportunities for life-changing conversations, life group gatherings, and discipleship. Watermark has SBC roots, but has an interdenominational feel with folks from many Christian denominations who call it home. Watermark is rapidly growing in a community that is experiencing exponential growth! We are looking for a motivated, team player ready to build a vibrant student ministry!
