The Director of Ministries is a key position responsible for the day-to-day management of the No Regrets Regional Champions, No Regrets Training teams, Ministry Partnerships, and No Regrets Volunteer Ambassador networks.

The ultimate goal of this position is to mentor, coach and expand the current teams and to continue to grow the network of churches, denominations and faith-based groups that are raising disciples of Christ through the No Regrets tools, resources and training materials.

The Director of Ministries will:

  • Identify, recruit, train and manage the volunteer NRMM Ambassadors that are engaging and mobilizing churches and specific ministry verticals.
  • Identify, recruit and train regional No Regrets Regional Champions (fractional/part time staff).
  • Identify and acquire new strategic denominational and church partners to engage the No Regrets discipleship tools and resources.
  • Recruit, train and oversee the NRMM Training team.
  • Understand and promote the online Basecamp discipleship tool, acquire new churches and groups of men to engage online or in person with the NR101 Discipleship and NR201 training courses.
  • Resource and educate regional churches on all NR discipling materials

Responsibilities & Duties

This position reports directly to the Executive Director of No Regrets Men’s Ministry and is a full time, exempt position that includes the following duties:

1. Work directly with the Executive Director, review weekly status reports on accomplishments and action items as they relate to achieving the overall goals of the organization.

2. Grow and maintain a network of churches that are engaged with NRMM offerings.

3. Identify and recruit individual Ambassadors to handle specific men’s ministry segment engagements.

4. Utilize relational skills to open doors to local, regional and national funding sources – working hand in hand with the Director of Development.

5. Manage the Training and Ministry Leadership teams.

6. Track the weekly activity of the Regional Champions towards the goal of engaging church pastors, men’s ministry leaders, community leaders, and other organizations via one-on-one calls, emails, webinars and other social media methods follow up to get more churches to simulcast the “live” yearly No Regrets Men’s Ministry event.

7. Be an advocate for NRMM offerings.

8. Foster and grow ministry partnerships with men’s ministry leaders and influencers, para-church ministry leaders, denominational leaders, etc., to foster and bring awareness of the NRMM resources, training curriculum, catalytic events participation through the live onsite event or via the simulcasting of the live event.

9. Partner with the Marketing teams to create tools and collateral needed to foster and promote the NRMM messaging into targeted markets.

10. Travel, as necessary and pre-approved, to accomplish goals and in support of the NRMM vision and mission when needed.

11. Lead weekly update meetings with teams and participate with weekly NR leadership status meetings.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in recruiting and managing staff and volunteers within a church, faith-basednonprofit, or ministry environment.
  • Relationships with national denominational leaders, para-church ministries, men’s ministry decision makers and national faith-based influencers.
  • Ability to articulate NRMM vision, mission and strategy.
  • Self-starter with ability to expand and grow men’s ministry and discipleship of men within a church community through NRMM tools and resources.
  • Abides by No Regrets Men’s Ministry statement of faith and is kingdom minded.
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring of faith-based teams.

Desired Outcome

To develop a network of churches and leaders who have the common vision of multiplying disciples, leaders and small groups. To grow the number of churches engaged in a disciple making process in the region. This will result in an increase of the number of men participating in its discipleship pathway and experiencing observable heart transformation.
