Position Purpose
•To teach children about Jesus through worship, service, and programming by providing leadership, organization, and support of the Children’s Ministry.
Essential Functions and Basic Duties*
•Assist during Kid’s Club programming on Wednesday evenings, K-5th grade.
•Assist in Children’s Worship programming on Sunday mornings leading Large Group and songs, huddle, media, both services check in and dismissal for Preschool-5th grade.
•Assist outside the Worship space, on Sunday/Wednesday, as needed for best programming flow.
•Lead Worship during VBS. Help prepare for VBS. (Scheduled for June 23-27, 2025)
Enlist, train and equip volunteers for Children’s VBS music.
•Work closely with the Children’s Minister and Coordinators in worship preparation and music selection, to intentionally integrate with lessons/themes. Change stage sets monthly as themes change.
•Communicate and respond to emails in a timely manner.
•Assist with Mom Co programming the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month (9 am- noon)
•Function in an interactive and cross-functional relationship with other ministries.
•Lead huddle and Sunday morning programming once a month so the Children’s minister may attend a worship service.
•Assist with monthly Kid’s Night out Programming.
•Spiritually lead the children in Scripture, Prayer, and Consistently point children back to Jesus.

•Programs are conducted with excellence, are engaging, age appropriate and fun. Cultivate relationships with the children.
Qualifications
1.Must love God with all your heart, soul and mind with a passion for leading children and families to Jesus.
2.Education/Certification: Minimum of High School Diploma, Bachelor Degree preferred
3.Experience Required: Prior experience working with children.
4.Skills/Abilities: excellent organizational skills, strong leader
5.Professional Skills: Power point, ProPresenter, Microsoft Word, video editing experience is helpful
