As we aim to expand our outreach, we're looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial Middle School Pastor to spearhead this mission, nurturing and guiding our youth towards a deeper faith and understanding of Jesus Christ.
Role Overview:
As the Youth Pastor, you will lead our middle school ministry by developing engaging services, fostering spiritual growth, and building a supportive community for youth. This role calls for an innovative leader passionate about evangelism, capable of devising and executing strategies to build a dynamic youth ministry that reaches students far from God.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and lead impactful youth services that resonate with today’s generation, fostering spiritual growth.
- Champion outreach initiatives to connect with unchurched youth, introducing them to the hope found in Jesus.
- Mentor and disciple young people, guiding them in their faith journey.
- Recruit, train, and empower volunteers to serve within the youth ministry.
- Cultivate strong relationships with parents, schools, and community organizations.
- Oversee the planning and execution of youth events, retreats, and missions that promote community and spiritual development.
- Manage ministry resources, ensuring alignment with the church’s vision and objectives.
Ideal Candidate:
- A strong relationship with Jesus Christ and a heart for evangelism.
- Proven experience in youth ministry, demonstrating creativity and effectiveness in outreach and discipleship.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with youth, parents, and volunteers.
- Self-motivated and entrepreneurial, with the initiative to develop new programs and outreach strategies.
- Theologically aligned with Gold Creek Community Church, with a commitment to personal and professional growth.
- A bachelor’s degree in Theology, Biblical Studies, Youth Ministry, or related field is preferred.
