Primary Responsibilities and Tasks of the Production Director

  1. Provide excellence in front-of-house operations for all weekend services and training to improve the sound mixing skills of current FOH volunteers.
  2. Collaborate with Creative Arts staff members to develop plans and strategies for ongoing A/V/L improvements.
  3. Establish standards of A/V/L operation and quality and oversee the meeting and improvement of the standards.
  4. Build, train, and lead a team of A/V/L and production volunteers.
  5. Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing the best uses of media technology in worship.
  6. Oversee the implementation of A/V/L aspects for weekend services and events, ensuring high quality and limiting distractions.
  7. Propose, submit for purchase and maintain A/V/L equipment.
  8. Direct management of A/V/L quality during weekend worship services and other events.

  4. Comfortable and proficient in working with a variety of audio, video, media, and lighting equipment (ex. ProPresenter, Planning Center, Digital Consoles etc.).
  5. Strong communication and leadership skills.
  6. Able to work in a rapidly changing environment with multiple priorities.
  7. A humble, easy to work with attitude. 
  8. Ability to lead volunteers effectively

 

Your Team

 This position reports to the Worship Pastor and Executive Leadership Team (ELT).

This position works with and relates to the worship and production teams.

Your Schedule

This is a part-time, position, 12 hours a week, including Sundays.

Sunday: 7am – 1pm

Weekday: TBD by Worship Pastor
