Campus Pastor

Salty Church is seeking a Campus Pastor for our New Smyrna Beach location. The ideal candidate loves to lead within a collaborative environment, values coaching (both giving and receiving), and is more comfortable in flip flops than a suit and tie. Don’t apply if you prefer religious tradition over relational ministry, hate the feeling of sand between your toes, or get stressed out every time something changes.

Our ministry has a unique ability to reach a coastal population. Just because you like the idea of going to the beach doesn't mean that you understand beach culture. Authenticity and being relationally driven are non-negotiable. 

Salty NSB is a video venue with a relaxed environment and engaging worship. The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills, be relational and possess proven leadership and growth history. The Campus Pastor provides overall leadership for the campus and functions as the communicator of the vision at the local level. Working with a collaborative team under the leadership of the Multisite Pastor, the Campus Pastor oversees all aspects of the weekend experience, groups, and community outreach.

Salty Church was birthed from the Atlantic Ocean (literally) on a deep sea fishing excursion in 2005, with the challenge of starting a church that would reach the unchurched and de-churched along Florida's east coast.  Since then, our mission has remained the same. We are a rescue station for the hurting and the lost, empowering those who've been rescued to partner with us in the rescue mission as disciples for Jesus.

Salty has campuses in Ormond Beach, Flagler Beach and New Smyrna Beach with a vision to start life-saving stations up and down the coast.

Qualifications:
A relational leader of leaders with the ability and passion to identify, raise up, and mentor others.
A history of working in a collaborative environment with other high-level leaders. An excellent communicator whether large or small group setting with strong written, verbal, presentation and listening skills. A passionate, energetic self-starter who enjoys meeting and exceeding goals. Models a Biblical servant leader: leads by serving and serves by leading. Possesses excellent decision-making skills using wisdom & discernment empowered by God.
