Youth Pastor

First Baptist Church of Farmington Missouri is seeking a full-time Associate Pastor for Youth.

FBC is a well-established church in a beautiful town an hour south of St. Louis. FBC has about 500 active members, including a vibrant student ministry of 50-75 teens. We have two Sunday morning worship services and provide a large variety of programs for our church body.  

The main responsibilities for this position include:

• Oversee all elements related to the FBC student ministry including, but not limited to: Wednesday night youth service, Sunday School programming, Sunday night discipleship groups, weekly contact with participating and prospective students, Fall youth retreat, youth camp, teen mission trips. 
• To serve a member of the FBC pastoral staff to minister to the entire church body under the direction of the Senior Pastor. 
• To serve on various ministry teams and church committees as directed by the Senior Pastor. 

Requirements for this position are: 

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year university. A seminary degree is preferred, but not required.
• At least two years’ experience of serving on a church staff.
