Job Description:

The Student Ministry Pastor will work collaboratively with the ministries of The Mission, to shepherd, teach, and build a Youth Ministry that lives out the Great Commission.  This person will be stepping into a solid youth ministry of more than 50students (junior high-high school) and a great ministry team of a dozen volunteers who are excited about ministering to the next generation.

This person's responsible to:

  • Recruit, develop, lead, and care for volunteers
  • Program Development and Teaching
  • Life Group Development
  • Plan and execute events
  • Staff Teammate
  • Along with supporting other church wide events and ministries 

Qualifications:

  • A professed faith in Jesus Christ and a clear relationship that is growing, personal, and authentic.
  • A commitment to strong Character – who we are, is more important that what we can do. This is a commitment to living a 1 Tim. 4:12 life.
  • Organized, strong leader, and a strategic mindset capable of helping the church maximize its resources
  • A commitment to the mission of The Mission Church of living out the Great Commission
  • Bachelor degree and previous church staff experience preferred
