Summary of Duties

The Technology Director manages and oversees all areas of technology for the CTK Network, including the A/V team in Bellingham and all CTK Network campus volunteers in the areas of A/V Technology. Understands all particulars of our current systems and seeks to make improvements. Requires forward thinking to stay up to date with current technologies and trends.

Essential Functions

  • Oversee our outside contractor for computer and phone system users at each Campus. Including but not limited to: initial computer set-up, hardware and software support, management and maintenance of wired and wireless networks and servers for both Mac and PC platforms which would include mobile devices used for ministry and budgeting for the CTK Network’s I.T. needs
  • Actively explore new technologies and their applications to CTK’s mission and workflows, including additional assignments by Executive Director of Operations
  • Assist AV Tech Departments within the CTK Network Including but not limited to creating playbooks for each AV station, monitoring systems, problem solving, planning systems, budgeting, etc. 
  • Work with CTK Network Campus’ proactive efforts in the development of Capital needs and budgeting for these projects
  • Manage and troubleshoot wired and wireless networks and internet services
  • Understanding of ROCK RMS or SQL databases
  • Provide support and maintenance of multi-line phone system
  • Organize and check out laptops and other devices to staff members
Requirements
  • Advanced aptitude for understanding and development in computer technology including repair and set-up of new computers; Web technical support preferred
  • Advanced experience with cloud services, web programming languages, and web hosting services.
  • Demonstrated competency with Google products, Windows OS, Mac OS, and current Microsoft Suite products for both platforms
  • Ability to research information via the Internet and other resources
  • Preferred but not required Computer Science or Information Technology degree
  • 3 years of related work experience
