Campus Worship Leader (Doylestown) July 2024
Purpose & Vision:
The Campus Worship Leader is responsible for the oversight of the Sunday morning experience, leading worship teams, and providing leadership for the Music Team, Tech Team, and Creative Arts Teams at the Doylestown Campus.
Key Responsibilities at Living Hope:
Serve as Sunday Morning Service Coordinator
- Provide campus oversight for all aspects of the Sunday Services and Special Services through the various participants, including the Speaker, Music Team, Tech Team, and Connections Host
- Maintain a relational environment in the auditorium for all sermon series and seasons
- Schedule participants with consistency and timeliness using Planning Center Online
Provide Musical Worship Experience
- Share the vision of Living Hope through leading music on Sunday mornings
- Continue to develop teams to lead Sunday morning worship
- Conduct weekly evening rehearsals
- Create an environment of learning by developing new and present musicians, singers and team members
- Work with Worship Ministries Director in service planning and setlist creation
- Maintain an atmosphere of excellence, humility and community in the ministry
Lead Support Teams
- Collaborate with the Worship Ministries Director to provide training and direction for the Worship Team (Music Team, Tech Team, and Creative Arts Team)
- Coordinate the technology aspects of the services and the integration of the building as it pertains to services
- Recruit and mentor teams for technology, vocals, instruments and creative arts
Skills & Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a leader/manager in a ministry and/or business environment
- Musical proficiency in at least one instrument in conjunction with the ability to lead congregational music
- Fluent knowledge of all software and hardware used in the implementation of worship gatherings (Planning Center, ProPresenter, LiveStream, Projection, Multitracks, Midi-Cues…etc.)
- A Bachelor's Degree is recommended, but not required
- Conferences and/or Master’s level work in the ministry will be encouraged
- The individual must have a proven track record of effective ministry, leadership, judgment, and above reproach character
- Weekly staff meetings and service planning meeting attendance
Accountability: This role reports directly to the Worship and Arts Director. An initial evaluation will take place at 30, 60, and 90 days and subsequently an annual evaluation.
