The Young Adults Director is a part-time position requiring approximately 20 hours per week. The individual in this role will develop, implement, and oversee a young adults ministry that engages, disciples, and empowers young people in our church and community.
Responsibilities for Young Adults Ministry:
- Develop & implement a strategy for reaching and connecting Young Adults from 18-25 at The Crossing.
- Work with Grow Pastor and Youth Pastor to provide a continuum of ministry programming and support from youth to adults.
- Plan, organize, and lead regular young adults gatherings that are engaging, relevant, and spiritually nurturing.
- Plan and execute special events that foster community, discipleship, and spiritual formation among young adults.
- Provide care and mentorship to young adults, offering guidance, support, and prayer as they navigate the challenges of young adulthood and grow in their faith.
- Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers, ensuring they are equipped and empowered to serve effectively in their roles.
- Maintain regular communication with young adults at the church, informing them about upcoming events and opportunities for involvement.
- Utilize social media and other digital platforms to engage young adults, promote ministry programs, and foster community.
- Participate in regular meetings, contribute to the overall vision and strategy of the church, and collaborate with other ministry leaders to ensure integration and alignment of Young Adults Ministry with the broader church mission.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Student Pastor or church leadership, supporting the overall goals and objectives of the youth ministry and the church as a whole.

- Pursues relationships and extends invitations for weekend services to non-believers

- Proven leader and vision caster who will guide the Young Adults team of leaders and volunteers by casting vision, training and deploying.
- Ability to work positively in a team environment.
